Both will take affect for sales or rentals effective after January 1st 2020. The transfer fee will be included in an HOA demand for inclusion in escrow. The rental fee will be collected prior to the start of the rental period.
MOTUS Earthquake Coverage – The board approved an anchor policy with MOTUS allowing all owners to purchase coverage to insure your personal property. There will be a 60-day enrollment period starting soon. There will be more information mailed ou regarding coverage options and how to enroll.
Proper Disposal of Glass Bottles – When disposing of glass bottles, we ask that they be placed in the recycle container behind the trash chute door on every floor and not dropped down the chute. If dropped from a large height, those items instantly shatter causing a health risk to anyone in the trash room. Some of our utility workers have already been hit by flying shards of glass. Please be mindful of the safety of our staff and properly dispose of any glass containers.
Garbage Disposals – As a reminder, the garbage disposals may “dispose” of whatever you may put into it, but that chewed up material may get lodged in your sink drain lines. It is advised that you not use your garbage disposal, but properly dispose of items bagged as trash. The garbage disposal best use is when pre-washing dishes and pots and pans before putting them in your dishwasher. Also do not put any grease down the sink as it will congeal somewhere and then cause your sink to back up. A plumber will be needed.
Front Desk Staff – Julio Morales, is a new part-time member of the Front Desk Staff. Please welcome him aboard.
